Legally it is required by professional carers that children should be supervised at the following ratios: 1:1 for children under 1 year old, 1:2 1-2, 1:3 2-3, 1:4 3-5, 1:8 5-8 and 1:10 above. This does not apply to ordinary parents or grand parents, but is a good guideline. You are responsible for the children and their conduct.
